The next JoY is our 23rd and will run from Friday 7th October to Sunday 9th October 2016. Bookings are coming in quite quickly and we already have two workshops half full, the performance places for the Student Showcase are also half full.
Schedules for the workshops are available – follow the links in the box on the right of this page to download a version to view or print off. We will send a printed version if you send a SAE to the contact address.
Our festival teachers are Marta Korzun, Ahmed Fekry, Ozgen, Katie Holland, Saqra, Khalida, Queenie, Darkstar, Michelle Pender, Nisha Lall, Chris Ogden, Diana Mehira, Joanne Miller, Lesley Ogden (sewing), Loveday (sewing).
On Friday evening we will hold another Student Showcase. To take part in this (as a soloist or with your group) you will need to first book an audience place and email email@example.com to get more information and reserve a performance place. Priority for places will be given to dancers who have booked workshops and who are taking part in the festival weekend. Audience tickets for this can be bought on the door on the evening.
The Saturday Festival show and disco is shaping up to be another fantastic evening – do book tickets for this in advance as we do not sell audience places on the evening due to capacity limits on the hall.
Booking for workshops and shows is as before, by email or by post and, new for this time, on-line booking. Please note that bookings made cannot be considered as confirmed until you receive a confirmation letter (by email) from us. The online booking facility may be closed from time to time to allow updates and will be withdrawn a few days before the festival when the booking office closes.
